Control and organization of service utilities and structure insure sound foundations and grouped utilities for maximum efficiencies and thoughtful expansion possibilities, plus minimizing foundation penetrations, thus allowing decorative concrete finishes with minimum concern for cracking.  Shown are main electrical distribution center (MDP) entrances for the campus centered in the Carriage House.

On-site fabricated post-and-beam exposed timber construction is both solid and attractive, lending character to design and performance to the "lodge" of the Great Room and Entry.

Carefully selected combinations of framing systems draw from the best of several structural and visual effects including, timber, trusses, masonry, steel, and conventional stud-framing.  Connectors are custom powder-coated steel.

Pre-completion view of southern exposure exterior entertaining porches features outdoor kitchen, gas and wood burning fireplace, copper-screened porch, and centrally controlled speaker system.  Woods are mesquite mantle, recycled longleaf pine lintels and trim, fir and fir-clad steel structure.  Standing seam roofing is a weathered copper coating to compliment copper gutters and downspouts.

The finished post construction results were breathtaking views of the Texas sky and western landscape.

General Contractor was Buz Hull Construction of Junction, Texas.
